Rotenone is a naturally occurring botanical compound obtained from the roots of Derris sp. It is an inhibitor of mitochondrial electron transport, specifically inhibiting NAD-linked substrate oxidation by mitochondria at the oxygen side of NADH dehydrogenase. 50% inhibition of the activity is observed at 10 picomoles/mg protein.

It is used to control pieris rapae, spotted lady beetle, phaedon brassicae, aulacophora gemoralis, phyllotrela vittata, and cabbage webworm and so on. Dilute 1000 times to spry. It also can control cabbage aphid, aphis craccivora koch, cotton aphid and so on. Dilute 1200 times, spray when the dew is not dry in the morning. Formulation Dosage: 0.75-1.0 L/ha.

Use precaution:
Respiratory protection: Breathing apparatus only if aerosol or dust is formed.

First aid: if accidental poisoning, wash the stomach with tannic acid or active carbon injectable suspension, inject in intravenous with glucose liquid, or inject the atropine in muscle, then send to see doctor.
It can not mix with alkaline pesticides
There is no starglow antidote, if swallow, go to see the doctor as soon as possible.
It is high toxicity to fish and bombyx mori, so avoid it touch liver water and mulberry.
It should be storage in cool and dry.
